It's 6:00 AM. The sun’s rays are orange, and the ocean, a reflection of the burning sky. I roll my way out of bed and put on a cozy robe . But I'm not headed very far. I pull up a chair on the balcony and watch quietly as the ocean before me lights up welcoming the South Beach morning.

I was invited to stay at the beautiful Shelborne Hotel in South Beach and I took this time to transport my mind from the demands of everyday life and surrender myself to a much deserved —

If there’s something I learned during this stay; there are always new perspectives to explore, even when being close to home.
South Beach is my hometown and yet experiencing it from this point of view gave me a new sense of its spirit.
I got to treat my eyes with panoramic views of South Beach — inevitably I had to treat my palate to room-service, morning breakfast, and midnight cocktails.
But what truly stayed with me was the special treat of a “normal day” filled with an abundance of beauty and profound reflections.
Everything an artist need to grow.
